Conservatory

Conservatory
Orangery

We are often asked to explain the difference between a Conservatory and an Orangery – a Conservatory has more glass in the roof area and is a quicker installation as there is less brickwork involved. We understand that commissioning a Conservatory of Orangery involves significant financial investment therefore we appreciate the trust you will be placing on us. From your first visit with one of our designers through to installation under the eye of your Project Manager and Surveyor we aim to make the process a great success.

Orangery

Orangery

An orangery has a perimeter flat roof area with a lantern roof and has slightly more brickwork. This can work well where a larger extension is required and height is limited. It is proving to be very popular that a modern kitchen or living area is now being incorporated into an Orangery. This can include bi-fold doors that open right up to allow access to the garden and can therefore be the perfect environment for informal entertaining. An Orangery tends to be a smart and luxurious setting, while a conservatory tends to be more informal used as a gateway to the garden.

Sunroom / Garden room

A sunroom is a combination of maximising glazing with a tiled roof to give you a bright living area with a well insulated solid roof. A sunroom is perfect for a living or dining area for all year round use. A garden room is similar in appearance to the traditional conservatory but instead of glass roof it has a solid tiled roof.

Loggia

Loggia

Loggia is an Italian inspiration, a british innovation. The inspiration for the name Loggia emanates from the Italian Renaissance so if you’re looking to add more style to your life, nothing comes quite close to a Loggia. With its magnificent exterior, the first impression will be the fabulous elegance of the construction and this will be an investment well made. Tiled Roof Conversion

Tiled Roof Converson

Conservatories are evolving along with consumer demand for a new generation of living space. A conservatory is still a very sought after product, even more so now with recent advancements such as the tiled roof upgrades as these make a conservatory into a garden warm room. Internally the tiled roof is finished with a plaster skim and then decorated to suit your requirements. A tiled roof upgrade can create a comfortable environment due to its superior insulation. It has more of an extension feel to it without having to build an entire new room.

Porch

Enhance your property by adding a strongly constructed Porch to the front or rear of your home. Porches protect your entrance doors from adverse weather conditions and can also give more space and be used as a cloakroom.

Canopy

Canopy

A glass Canopy provides an attractive and practical feature to a building and can be used to create a stunning patio area for relaxing in the garden and enjoying the weather, or could be used as a car port at the side of your home.

Firestone EPDM Roof

Firestone EPDM Roof

Firestone EPDM roofing systems offer a proven track record of durability and overall performance. It is a quick and easy installation as the Firestone is available in sheet sizes up to 15m wide and 61m in length resulting in fewer seams and less installation time.

Glass Roof

Glass roof

Whatever the reason for adding a Conservatory Roof to your home it is a significant investment and choosing the right glass will only add to its value. Self cleaning glass is available and is highly recommended as it saves you from cleaning it yourself – it uses daylight to break down organic dirt and then it uses rain to wash the dirt away. The self cleaning glass we use is Pilkington Activ. It dries off faster than other roofs leaving the glass clean with reduced streaks which gives you beautifully clear views. Dual solar control in your roof can help your conservatory maintain a comfortable temperature throughout the year to that you can use your conservatory all year round.
